Dr. Nando Bodha: "Zamana is the ideal platform for debating national issues."

 


Dr. Nando Bodha, a former minister and leader of the Rassemblement Mauricien, wants Zamana to be a place where new ideas come from. He says the organization can help with the battle of ideas in the country. Dr. Bodha is a prominent figure in Mauritian politics, having served as Leader of the Opposition and as Secretary-General of the Mouvement Socialiste Militant (MSM) for a number of years. He holds a doctorate in urban planning from the University of Rennes (France) and is also a practising lawyer. He held a close relationship with the late Sir Anerood Jugnauth and served as the Director General of the Mauritius Broadcasting Corporation (MBC) in the 1990s.
